A free planner for gardens and allotments
Use it to sketch a veg bed, a raised bed, or a whole allotment plot before you commit seed and compost. Paint soil, paths and planting spots on a square grid, then move things around until the layout feels right.
No sign-up is needed to try it. Log in only if you want Sproutly to keep the layout. You can also export the plan as JSON and import it later, which is handy if you work on the plot from more than one computer.
When you know what the bed is for, the planting calendar says what to sow this month. What to plant in October and what to plant in November.
How to use the planner
- Pick Paint and choose a terrain tile to draw beds, paths and features.
- Use Erase to clear terrain, and to remove a plant token from that square.
- Use Plant to plot plant tokens. If you're logged in, you can also pick from plants already in your diary.
- Export copies the layout as JSON. Import reads a layout back in.
You can use the planner without an account. Saving a layout needs you to log in.
